Andrei and his team are exactly what you want from a design and build firm: Competent, clean, cost effective and ……can’t do enough for you! I am out of further ‘C’ alliterations to praise this company.
I have been in property development for a long time and I only wish I had met this company earlier- the standard of work is second to none in all facets of the construction sector.
The pricing isn’t the cheapest, but it is very fair comparatively (and…for the quality of finish it is extraordinary!) They can do the smallest 3-4 day job to complete conversions, remodels and rebuilds if needed – extensions, side returns, kitchens and loft conversions are their forte.
These guys work hard, give you an excellent finish and communicate very well with architects, QS and clients alike.

We’d highly recommend Waltons Construction. They weren’t the cheapest quote we received but we are very glad that we selected them. The work was completed to a high standard, on time and within budget. The on-site team were reliable, trustworthy and competent and showed respect for our home, which we were living in while the work was going on. Waltons also worked well with our architect and structural engineer. Our architect was impressed by the craftsmanship of the various trade skills including bricklaying and exterior tiling.

I decided not to use any other builder to be honest as:
- Build quality is superb and Andrei is driven to produce high quality work whilst also ensuring client satisfaction
- Easy to work with. Listens and takes action.
- Works well in a team and communicates well with team members. e.g. I project managed the flat refurb and Andrei, my architect and I had regular meetings and Andrei was superb here
- Problems with build: it is the very nature of building works for unexpected issues to arise. We had a few major issues where Andrei was calm and thorough in his communication and most of all provided expedient solutions and saw them through (and some solutions no other builder would have entertained)
- Snagging – he is extremely mindful to leave all aspects of the job completed to customer satisfaction which is exceptionally reassuring
All in all, Andrei is a rare find: trustworthy, a joy to work with and very skilled with regard to quality. Re value, he is mid to high range. In sum, he is exceptional in both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of his service.
Lastly, testament to Andrei is that my architect and he have already worked together on another project that my architect sourced and a close friend who is also a pioneering architect is keen to use Andrei for their London jobs after they saw our flat!

The work Andrei Walton carried out was of a very high standard and executed rapidly and efficiently, with a minimum of mess and upheaval. He is an extremely talented craftsman who takes great pride in his work and has an excellent sense of design and knowledge of the materials he uses. But it is not just for his skill and professionalism that I would recommend Andrei. He is also a truly genuine and nice person.
